Infantry School Mhow Amrit Mahotsav Celebration - Cyclothon organized

As the Nation celebrates 75 years of Independence, The Infantry School, Mhow as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organised a series of events to commemorate the 75th Independence Day which included tree plantation, motivational lectures for children, a cyclothon event and a musical concert.

Lt Gen PN Ananthanarayanan, SM, Commandant, The Infantry School, Mhow along with officers, JCOs, jawans and their families made an endeavour to contribute towards enhancement of green cover by planting trees at many locations within area of responsibility of the establishment. The General Officer also participated in a cyclothon event in which combatants, ladies and children cycled through the villages near Mhow to spread awareness about good health and to promote the cause of a greener India. In addition, motivational lectures were organised by young officers to inculcate National integration amongst children of local schools.



Combatants and families of The Infantry School, Mhow also witnessed a musical concert organised through Ekam Satt "Mission for Nation" initiative in which Mr Ameya Dabli entertained the families and showcased our rich heritage of sufi and folk music . Ekam Satt foundation is involved in promoting various cultural activities, social welfare and India's rich cultural heritage.

Rekindling the spirit of Nationalism with patriotic fervor, serving officers, soldiers along with veterans, civilian dignitaries and NCC cadets will lay wreath at the Infantry Memorial on 15 Aug 22 and pay homage to the bravehearts.
